😱 What has she done?

“STOP talking!”

What has come after that is still “ruining” the lives of many, even multiple decades later… 😱

Back then… Her loud voice made my whole body shiver.

We all looked up at the teacher afraid as she was rapidly walking among the tables in the classroom.

She stopped at the desk one row ahead in front of me.

“I said ‘no talking’. Both of you give me your papers. You’re done!” – she said agitatedly. 😠

Even though only the two whispering kids got the worst mark they could get on that exam…

…every single one of us got something even worse…

One of the first building blocks of a long lasting, very limiting ‘comfort zone’.

As Tony Robbins has pointed it out at one of his large events…

For 15-16 years, in school 🧑‍🏫, they deeply ingrain habits into most of us like…

• When the bell rings, sit down at your desk.

• Be quiet, don’t talk to your neighbors.

• Memorize everything in your head.

• And most sadly… Do everything yourself, otherwise it’s cheating.

But what we’ve got familiar with, and have got used to over those many years…

…is a part of a ‘comfort zone’ that is far from comfortable and beneficial. 😖

The habits that have made us “successful” in school are the SAME ones that are our Achilles heel as entrepreneurs.

Like, attempting to do everything yourself is crazy limiting and damaging.

Even just thinking about doing the KEY parts of marketing…

…building an audience on social media, driving traffic, generating leads, making sales, doing follow ups…

…can easily make just one person completely feel overwhelmed 😵‍💫 . Right?

YET, a lot of entrepreneurs stick within the boundaries of their ‘DIY comfort zone’ and keep hoping for more success.

Which is pretty much “insanity” !

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” – Albert Einstein

But the fact is, as Dean Graziosi once said…

“All of our success lives on the other side of the thing that is a little bit uncomfortable, in fact some could be a lot uncomfortable.”

In other words… Our success 🤩 is outside of our ‘comfort zone’.

So whatever yours is in business and marketing…

…I’m inviting you to consciously step outside of that ‘comfort zone’ today, and start doing something new, like…

…and start getting NEW, happy, paying customers in no time.

“How weird can this look from the other side? Ha-ha-ha” 😅 – thought.

Usually, I’m in my own world, minding my own business…

…but at that moment, I couldn’t help but wonder for a second what might have come across the mind of the startled woman who passed by me.

Just as she was about to walk by, I started laughing out loud.

I could see her face suddenly shifting from calm to shocked and confused.

It whooshed through my mind how weird that could look from her side… 😅

…a guy on the sidewalk in a high collar jacket and beanie hat starting to laugh out loud, seemingly for no reason.

But my wonder passed just as quickly as it came…

…and I got re-focused on the attention-grabbing voice in my ears, coming from the headphones hiding under my beanie.

_________ was telling a funny story…

…that had such a great marketing, business and life lesson in it.
