For some marketers, finding traffic is the most difficult task in digital marketing and lead generation.

There are many ways to drive traffic to your website and get the right leads into your funnels.

To get started, consider these easy-to-follow lead generation marketing strategies: 

  • Add content creation and publishing as part of your digital marketing plan. With valuable content, you won’t just be getting traffic. You’ll be attracting warm leads too! 
  • Build your email list and nurture it because it’s the only source of traffic you truly own. 
  • Set up Pay-Per-Click and Retargeting ads to maximize your ad campaign. 
  • Think about adding viral loops to your lead generation campaign to extend your reach.
  • Offer affiliate referrals, be active in the community, use the Dream 100 strategy.

Are you one of the many entrepreneurs who find TRAFFIC is the most challenging area of your marketing? 

If so, let me share with you 8 Traffic Strategies that you can start using today in your lead generation and marketing automation… 

My name is Istvan Bujdoso and this is The 47 Marketing Show… 

Let’s get started with the first traffic strategy on our list which is Content Creation And Publishing. This is a great way not only to get traffic into your funnel, but to get WARM traffic… 

People who watch your videos, or listen to your podcasts, or read your blog posts, they start getting to know you, like you and trust… 

And, by the time they visit your funnels they are WARM and more likely to opt-in to your email list, turn into leads, or buy your online products… 

This is not the only benefit of consistent content creation and publishing… 

One of the other ones is that every content piece that you publish is a marketing asset that is working for you 24/7, 365 days, warming up your target audience and turning some of them into your traffic… 

This strategy is great to make part of your marketing automation because the videos, the podcasts, and the blog posts you publish can even bring you traffic for years. Which is exciting, isn’t it? 

Okay, traffic strategy #2 is Your Email List. So many times, some people said that email marketing is dead. Although it’s not as efficient as it was 10-15 years ago… 

…it is still evergreen and still the most essential marketing element you can use Let me explain why… 

Pretty much your email list is the only traffic source you really own. Facebook, Google, and other sources are ones that you can somewhat control and get traffic from… 

But you do not own them, they can change overnight and cut you off from your target audience. Just think about the multiple Google and Facebook slaps that happened in the past years… 

…and dried up the main traffic source of many businesses instantly. That’s why it is so important building your email list because that’s the only traffic source you really own… 

And with email automations, you can keep your list warm and get warm traffic from it on a scale without that process eating up your entire life. Does this make sense? 

Okay, traffic source #3, Facebook Chatbots. Although your email list is really important, that’s not the only traffic source you should use… 

Using Automated Facebook Chatbots is a really beneficial way of getting traffic. And as long as Facebook let you use this feature, control that traffic source, you should use it… 

Because of the nature of Facebook messages, you can message your list less frequently than people on your email list like once a week, without annoying them… 

Even though that limitation is there, you can get traffic efficiently through Facebook messages because generally, Facebook messages have high open and click-through rates… 

Can you see why this is another great strategy to get traffic in an automated way? 

Traffic source #4, Pay-Per-Click Ads. This is another strategy where you can control the traffic from different platforms like Facebook, Google, YouTube, and other platforms… 

…and send it into your funnel or onto your website. Some adverts have short lives, while others will bring you traffic for longer… 

Once you set them up, and they are active, they can be profitable elements of your marketing automation… 

Okay, let’s move on to the next traffic strategy which is #5 on our list: Retargeting Ads… 

Have you ever visited a website and then for days, you will keep seeing ads from that same brand everywhere on the internet? Those are the retargeting ads… 

They are PPC adverts as well, but it’s a bit of a different strategy. With retargeting ads, you can target warm audiences and get warmer traffic from than from normal PPC ads… 

For example, people who visited your funnel but didn’t opt-in, they kind of raised their hand that they are interested in the topic you talk about, but they didn’t take action… 

With retargeting ads, you can reach out to them again in an automated way and remind them to visit your funnel again and opt-in or buy your online product. It makes sense, right? 

Traffic strategy #6, Viral Loops. Don’t worry, it has nothing to do with dressing up like a giant penguin, surfing down on sand dunes while singing a silly song. Nothing like that… 

Have you ever heard about Dropbox? One of the most popular cloud storage companies? One of the secrets to their rapid growth was using viral loops… 

For many years, they had a free plan and gave 2 GB space for the users. When somebody signed up, Dropbox also offered them ways to get more space for free… 

Like for inviting friends or for sharing Dropbox on social media. And, a lot of people did those. Because of that, more new users signed up to Dropbox… 

The new users invited more people and those people invited more people. And the company went viral that way. Can you see how this automated strategy can generate a lot of warm traffic? 

Traffic strategy #7, Affiliate Referrals. This is another great way to get warm traffic into your funnel, especially when you’re selling online products… 

Great affiliate partners can send you a lot of warm traffic for getting a percentage of the sales you make… 

Okay, are ready for the last traffic strategy on the list which is #8, Dream 100. I learned a strategy from Russell Brunson… 

In a nutshell, you find 100 or more people who already have strong relationships with your target audience and you focus on building strong relationships with your Dream 100… 

And with some of them, you’ll be able to collaborate, and that can result in getting a lot of good traffic onto your website or into your funnel. Are you getting this?
