Let me start with two very basic and obvious things. When you want to make business with somebody and they don’t know you… 

… you have to introduce yourself and your business to them somehow. It’s simple and true, right? 

No matter if that happens over the phone, face-to-face, or through your online content, people have to get to know you… 

… like you and trust you before they will do any business with you… 

Okay, let’s talk about the differences between those methods… 

Getting yourself introduced to your target audience via cold calling is usually a painful process for both sides… 

On your side, you get a lot of rejections which can be quite exhausting. On the other side, a lot of people are disturbed by unwanted calls and offers… 

Although cold calling can work and get leads, the truth is that it is a painful process. Don’t you think?

It is a fun activity. For example, I love meeting and talking to new people and can get good leads for you. BUT there’s a HUGE drawback of face-to-face networking… 

The time of traveling to the event is wasted time which can be a lot and it especially feels that way when you leave an event without any good leads… 

Do you know what I mean? 

Both cold calling and live networking are one-to-one methods which make them quite limited how many people you can talk to in a day… 

On the other hand, when you publish content, it’s kind of like replicating pieces of yourself and getting them to talk to your potential leads… 

… and that’s kind of limitless because thousands, tens of thousands, or even more people can watch and read your content in a day… 

And you can even be on a holiday or sleeping, or doing some other fun activities in bed while somebody’s watching the videos of your business… 

… and getting to know you, like you and trust you… 

Okay, this might make you think that on the phone and face-to-face, you can build trust and relationships quicker… 

Yes, it is different when you talk to somebody directly than when somebody’s watching your videos… 

With the first one, you have more direct feedback that helps you communicate differently… 

But, it’s limited how many hours you can spend talking to ONE potential lead and how many leads you can talk to in a day…

They can watch or read your content for many hours and they will get to know you, like you and trust you more than they would in a short direct call or face-to-face talk… 

And because with published content, you don’t need to spend direct time with each potential lead, it saves you a lot of time… 

PLUS, your content can reach a LOT MORE people in a day than you could do that with calls or networking. Does that make sense? 

Also, regular publishing valuable content not just help with introducing yourself to NEW potential leads… 

It also helps easily follow-up with EXISTING leads and keep warming them up by giving them value over and over again through your content…
