Number 1 is, the landing page is NOT simple, it’s confusing. This is an easy-to-make mistake to put a lot of information onto the landing page… 

The TRUTH is that the more new information your visitors get in one go, the more likely they will get confused and leave without turning into leads and may never come back… 

To avoid this mistake, keep your landing page simple… 

Mistake number 2 is, the landing page does NOT create curiosity… 

The fact is that, as soon as your visitors start viewing your landing page, their mind starts making assumptions… 

and if they assume that they already know the answer they would get when they opt-in, they will leave simply… 

On the other hand, when your landing page make them really, really curious, they will opt-in to find out more and they will turn into your leads… 

Mistake number 3 is the landing page is NOT focused on moving the people away from their pain… 

In life, there are two fundamental motivators. One of them is moving towards pleasure and the other one is moving away from pain… 

MOST people are motivated by moving away from pain… 

When your landing page doesn’t show to the visitors that after they opt-in, they would get something that would help them to move away from that pain…

… and when your landing page asks the visitors to give a lot of information, they will less likely to opt-in… 

In most cases, the less info the visitors need to give, the more likely they will opt-in… 

And, later on, when you have their contact information, you can ask for more information from them… 

Okay, mistake number 6, the call to action is NOT clear on the landing page… 

“The confused mind always says no,” when it’s not clear what people need to do on your landing page, then they will get confused and they will leave… 

To avoid this mistake, make it SUPER clear what they need to do on the landing page. They need to fill out the form, then they need to click on the button… 

Okay, mistake number 7, there are multiple calls-to-action on the landing page… 

It’s proven when people are asked to choose from multiple options and take action, it’s less likely that they would do ANY of them… 

So, if your landing page has multiple different calls-to-action, then it will turn less visitors into leads. To avoid this mistake, have ONLY ONE call-to-action… 

Okay, mistake number 8, there’s NO social proof on the landing page… 

Human beings are wired to look at what other people do… 

..and when they see that others have already done something that they are about to do, they more likely will take action…
