The first question is How Does Marketing Automation Benefit A Business Overall? Automating your marketing has many benefits. For now, let’s go through the most important ones.

First of all… Marketing has a lot of repetitive activities, doing the same things over and over again. Which can eat up a lot of time for an entrepreneur.

And automation can take over certain repetitive and time-consuming tasks.

That way, it gives back a lot of time to entrepreneurs which is free time you can use for any other activities either in your business or in other parts of your life.

The next key benefit is that Automation is not limited to work hours, so it can work for you 24/7/365 days. Plus, it works a lot faster than humans can.

Which means, it can do a lot more work for you, and consistently. And you can also experience that in the results you can get from marketing automation.

The third key benefit is It makes your marketing easily scalable. Either your business requires to scale up or down, with marketing automation, you can do it a lot easier…

Let me share with you a story. I’ve been building and nurturing an email list of entrepreneurs for over 5 years now.

And one day, I was sitting in my office and I was looking through sales reports and numbers of the previous month. And randomly, I selected about 10 people from the list.

One by one, I looked through what they bought, which email reached them at the right time, and other details. Then, I got surprised at one of the gentlemen.

He has been on the email list for over 4 years. Before that he didn’t buy anything from us. He just kept reading some of the daily emails for years.

And one of the emails reached him at the right time when he was ready to buy.

Without using marketing automation to consistently follow up with your leads you can miss out opportunities like these. Just imagine this.

You have a list of thousands of leads or more and email automations give you the opportunity to follow up with them every day, as long as they are on your list, with minimal of your work.

Some people will never buy, others will be ready to buy after days, weeks, months, or years.

And your automation are there to catch them at the right time, to turn them into customers and grow your business. Automated follow-ups are just one example.

There are other parts of marketing like lead generation, traffic, pre-qualification, and many others you can use to get more marketing done in less time.

No matter what your business is, marketing is a MUST to be able get leads and clients. That’s just obvious, right?

The best use of marketing automation tools is freeing up as much of your time as possible while the work gets done as well.

And usually, the additional benefits of using those tools is that the work not only gets done, it also happens faster, and on a bigger scale. Which will result in the growth of your business.

And this leads us to the juiciest question of this episode.

Question #6: What Is The Easiest Way To Automate A Marketing Process? The easiest way is…just do it! Okay, just kidding.

So the easiest way is using the following 5-step formula: First, find a repetitive marketing activity that you do for the long term.

The best to start with the activity that takes up a lot of your time, and it’s relatively simple to do. Just to give you an example.

I used to spend about 1 hour on LinkedIn, every day, to send invitations, and to start new conversations with people. And that ate up a lot of my time every week.

At the same time, it was something simple to do.

The second step in the formula is to go through the marketing activity you chose and look for the parts that are unnecessary.

From time to time, we all tend to make things more complex than it’s necessary. So eliminate as much complexity as possible to simplify the activity.

The next step of the formula is to automate as much of that marketing activity as possible. Most entrepreneurs go through similar challenges and do similar things.

And because of that, there’s a good chance a 3rd party automation tool already exists that you can use.

Once you find the right tool, the next step of the formula is this: Some activities are not possible to automate, or it would cost more to automate than keep doing them manually.

And that’s when delegation comes into the picture to still free up your time, so you can use that in different ways.

And the last step of the formula is the MOST important one. This is what maximises the benefits of marketing automation and the results you can get from it.

And this step is creating and using specific processes. What should happen? What tools should be used? Which member of your team should do what?

How and when those things should happen? And so on.

The processes are the glue that makes everything work together smoothly, so your automation can get you more marketing done in less time, with less money.

So this is the 5-step formula that makes automating a successful marketing process the easiest.

And of course, after you set up marketing automation, don’t be afraid of adjusting it and making it even better.
